Claire has received 2 'People's Choice' awards for paintings this year.
Earlier this year her painting Transparent Leaves, won the award in the Oceanic Art Prize in Port Douglas.
And last month she took out the people's choice for her painting Mr Fig Parrot in the Townsville Art awards.
